| The Blue belt is now developing the skills to become more spontaneous in their response to Catalysts. The 4 Ranges of Self-Defense are understood as the kenpoist learns to alter strategy and use them to his advantage. What may appear to be an increase in the speed of execution is actually a result of improved timing, skill, and coordination. The word "and" is eliminated as the kenpoist blends offense and defense into the same action. The Blue Belt also begins to understand the usage of linear vs. circular, hard vs. soft, and major vs. minor moves. |
