| Ba Gua Zhang Workshop Series Ba Gua Zhang, or Eight Trigrams Palm, is an internal martial art with many similar qualities as Tai Chi Chuan. Bagua, however is practiced while continuously walking, and with proficiency you are encouraged to increase speed making it a more rigorous workout. As with its sister art, Bagua consists of philosophical, meditative, and energetic aspects in addition to the combative. In this workshop series, you will learn Lao Ba Zhang, or 'Old 8 Palms' set. This is the foundational set of Bagua and teaches all of the nuances and signature techniques of the art. Movement, energy flow, and martial applications of the set will be taught and practiced.
