Tai Chi Classics Workshop                           Part I: Friday, May 28, 2010 (7:00-9:30pm)
                                                                                         Part II: Friday, June 25, 2010 (7:00-9:30pm)

The Tai Chi Chuan Ching, or more commonly called the 'Tai Chi Classics', contain the art's most
deepest meanings, philosophies, and principles.  Attributed to a lengendary 13th Century Taoist,
Zhang San Feng, these simple verses form the basis for Tai Chi, regardless of style or lineage.

By reading the classic texts, one begins to identify
the fundamental concepts that separate Tai Chi from
other martial arts, energy practices, and meditations.
But, only through applied practice, does one truly
understand how these principles can transform their
                                                                                     practice.

The Workshop will be presented in 2 parts, where specific passages will be read, pondered, and
discussed.  I will utilize forms, postures, and movements from the Wu Ji Style Tai Chi that is taught
at Silk Wind to apply the principles to applied practice. Student of other styles of Tai Chi are welcome,
as these principles are universal and can be applied to any style or form.

This workshop is appropriate for ALL levels, including beginners.

The cost of each workshop is $30 with advance registration, or $50 for both sessions.
