                                                       YOGA CLASS GUIDELINES
 
    Do not eat immediately before class.  Keep it light, no heavy meals for 2-3 hours before class
 
    Wear comfortable attire: t-shirts, footless tights or discreet shorts

    Bring a yoga mat & blanket (mats and blankets are available for purchase or loan)

    Turn off your cell phone (leave it on vibrate if you need to be reached during class)

     Please do not wear strong scented perfumes or cologne, which can become overwhelming during practice

     Advise the instructor before class of any health problems, injuries, or if you are pregnant as alternative postures
        may be suggested.

     Ahimsa, the yogic practice of non-violence must be adherered to when engaging in the practice of hatha yoga

     Respect your body's limitations and inner wisdom  If something feels wrong or dangerous, please do not do it.

     Please consult a physician before starting yoga or other exercise program

     When arriving late for class, enter quietly and immediately take your seat, keep disturbances to a minimum until
         the opening meditation has ended.

     Please remove shoes and socks - yoga is practiced barefoot.

     Please remain centered and focused in your practice.
